Socialist Promises

While the promoters of the proposed new gov’t run health insurance assure us that we may keep the current health plans we now enjoy, history proves otherwise. When schools became government-sponsored for the first time, the same assurances were made, that it wouldn’t affect one’s ability to continue with the private schooling arrangements enjoyed at that time. As taxes were raised to fund the new systems it became cost prohibitive for people to “keep” the arrangements they had, and most, (politicians excluded) were forced into the new gov’t run system.

Today we are repeatedly reminded that the school system is grossly underfunded, while record amounts of money are now being poured into it. At the same time it is graduating students who must take remedial courses in colleges for which they are unprepared.

I submit that the same highly expensive mediocrity which is the public education system is what is in store for us in the form of ”free” health care.

I agree whole heartedly with this. Google how Fidel Castro took over Cuba. The same way Obama is trying to socialize our country.
