Get into these helpful and basic information that I have to share with you so you can finally have a France Visa or perhaps a Dubai Visa. There are a few guidelines you must take into consideration when you are applying for a French Visa.
Do you need to have a France Visa?
France welcomes people to visit their place and at times needs other nationals to avail or apply for a France Visa before they can come, but sometimes there’s no need for it. Usually, this is dependent if:
- From which country you belong
- If you hold a residence permit in France or maybe from a different country that is under the Agreement of Schengen
- How long you intend to stay
- Which part of the French Republic you want to go to
There are countries that are considered to be part of its European territory and these are as follows: Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Iceland, Lithuania, Estonia, Luxembourg, Malta, Greece and more.
Country Citizens that France don’t need to require a France Visa are the following:
1.Countries that are members of the European Economic Area, European Union and those that are members of Schengen such as Bermuda, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Holy See, Honduras, Japan, Malaysia, Monaco, Mexico, Austria, Andorra, Japan, Malaysia and many more.
2.People who hold passports that are issued at Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as well as from their Special Administrative Region of Macao of the People’s Republic of China
3.Those people who hold residence permit or travel documents from the countries that are mentioned above as member of the Schengen Agreement and those who hold a France residence permit.
While France Visa is not required for those citizens who meet the requirements mentioned above, they are still subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Their length of stay is only allowed for a maximum duration of 90 days; this number of days can never be extended.
- Statement of valid reasons why they intend to visit France. Examples could be for tour, sight-seeing, family visits, attend a special occasion for a friend and more.
- In case you don’t plan to stay there for only 90 days, as there’s no extension allowed, you need to secure for a France Visa
- If you want to apply for a French Visa because you want to stay longer or because you do not fall under the category mentioned above wherein you are exempted from presenting a visa and thus you want to apply for a short-stay visa, the following are your requirements:
1.Bring you passport. The passport must not be expiring for your full travel, particularly within 3 months or more.
2.Recently taken passport size photos. Two copies of it. Photo must have been taken not more than two months before application and it must have a plain, solid white background.
3.Filled up application form for the visa with your signatures. If applicant is below 18 years old, parents must affix their signature. Note that erasures or superimpositions are not allowed.
4.Application fee
Take note that requirements listed above may change depending on the update for France visa requirements.
